It has happened. I think I finally "hit the wall" and am feeling road weary. I've been in this state of mind before. This too shall pass.
So I am sitting here thinking about my whirlwind summer. In the back of my mind, I know my husband, any day now, is going to say we've hardly been anywhere or done anything all summer. He says it every fall. I feel like we've been going non-stop since the first of May. I decided to list all my summer "posts" here so the first time I hear him say we haven't done much, I shall point him to this documentation. Don't you love it?
Today is August 1st and while I was wondering where the last 3 months have gone, I realize we have packed a lot of life into our days. I'm so happy I've had the presence of mind to blog about it. What a blast!!
How have you spent your summer? I'd to hear about it!
love, susan
Hi Susan, just thought I would send a note to let you know I really enjoyed lunch with you and Kelly yesterday. We need to do that again soon. Also, just so you know, I do read your blog from time to time ;). Since it is the only way I can get my Susan fix for the day/week. We miss having you here, but it is good to know that you are having a much better time not being here. You are one amazing person that I have been lucky enough to meet. You just can't find people like you anymore! You have had one interesting summer! Keep up the good work! - Karla
ReplyDeleteOk, you really visited so many place :) I envy you!
ReplyDeleteA lot of these places were local places that I would not have gone if I had been at work. I'm grateful I've been able to see some things in my own town.
ReplyDeleteHow I miss seeing you and Gene.....glad your summer is going great. Let me know when you have a break and I will drive over for a day or so. Nancy
ReplyDeleteWow! Your summer HAS been busy (and fun)! It seems like I've traveled a lot this summer, but not compared to your list! We went to Lake Tahoe in early June, then in July I made two trips to Idaho, and I'm just returning from a Montana road trip.
