A year ago this month, we took a trip to the beach at Seaside, Oregon. I remember that it was really cold over there but it was good to get to the beach and smell the ocean air.
I wasn't writing this blog yet but if I had been, I would have said it was a wonderful trip and I'm so glad we got to go.
I sure wouldn't mind another trip to the ocean but I wouldn't stay in Seaside again. It's a nice little town but there are so many others to go visit ... why go to the same place twice?

As your last post said... I'M ALREADY GONE... oh yeah.. ready freddy. Should get really cold and damp.. and go to the Ho Rain forest on the Peninsula first.. see some very large SERIOUSLY moss draped trees. Then head south from there, Astoria.. see some friends of ours in Seaside at the Yellow House.. then keep on going till we run out of Oregon Coast. YUP..
ReplyDeleteWe camped a couple of nights in Seaside en route to AK back in 2003. We actually spent a week on the OR coast, moving up the coast every two days. Loved it! We'd love to go back and spend more time in OR - both the coast and inland. Someday...
ReplyDeletei spent a summer in Seaside, Oregon with my grandparents when i was a child. it was magical for me...we got to collect star fish, anenamies, and lots of other things. i would not mind going back some 60 years later. Nice pic too!!
