Halloween is past and these rejected pumpkins caught my eye as we drove past them near Hermiston, Oregon yesterday.
It got up to a balmy 67 degrees by late afternoon and is forecasted for 68 today. Not bad for November!
It was a good day to take the dogs (and cat) out in the front yard and toss toys and just hang.
Abbie with her scrappy face! |
Missy loves to roll in the grass. What joy!

I love wearing them out

Mr. Kitty is ginormous! I did a double take when I realized that it was an orange cat next to Missy. Egads!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think this photo is an optical illusion. He does look huge in this photo next to the dog. I wonder what made it look like that?
DeleteIts a very unusual and interesting thing to see- the site of rejected pumpkins.Celebrating Halloween is not very common in our place so while I saw this post being updated in my dashboard, I thought they were flowers at first glance ! And Mr Kitty is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were just so bright out there in the field, I couldn't help stopping to snap a pic. I suspect they will just lay there and rot and go back into the earth.
DeleteWow! Such a beautiful cat. She looks like the cat that swallowed the canary. A whole lot of canaries! :) I'd babysit Abbie any time. :D I'd take her for walks when y'all couldn't; I'd toss a frisby with my good arm and challenge her to a race. :) Beautiful pets, Susan.
ReplyDeleteBack this train up. Your cat has blue eyes? Or is it the blue from this background playing with me? ;)
ReplyDeleteOh! I'd baby sit both dogs AND the cat!
Oh, his eyes are green. I didn't even edit this photo. I think you're right ... it's the background. I actually printed this photo yesterday and his eyes are a BEAUTIFUL green in print.
DeleteLooks like they're laughing in the bottom photos! LOL!
