I lived there when I was 7-8 years old. I have the address to one of the houses we lived in and I plan to return (hopefully next year) and take pictures of that house, as well as try to find the other home we lived in. I remember eating licorice flavored ice cream; visiting the Whitman Museum (I think it was called); being knocked unconscious in the only car wreck I've ever been in (the guy who hit us was rushing to the vet because his cat was in labor); and dashing away from Green Park Elementary to quickly climb up a tree in the park to escape from a boy who said he was going to kiss me after school! :-)Sugarholic In Recoveryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09591959478388014741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3657625150805629106.post-69299397154652491612011-10-22T11:16:38.457-07:002011-10-22T11:16:38.457-07:00@ Janie ~ you wanna something funny? It's funny how out of the gazillion things you learn about your friends, a few things stand out. It was a magical place with swimming pools and huge thunder and lightening storms. My grandfather would make us breakfast outside every day and he had a huge rose garden. Every street on the block had the most beautiful houses and the grass was greener than any place I had ever been. Thank you for the pictures. They are beautiful, especially the window as I'm fascinated with all things windows and doors.Janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10306238538660820614noreply@blogger.com
